Money Heist ( La casa de papel ), the Spanish television series that has depopulated in Italy thanks to the Netflix platform, has now reached the end of its third season. His characters have fascinated and enchanted us, including twists, introspections, flash backs and sentimental intertwining; but our attention is focused on the mind that moves the whole machine: the Professor.
As brilliant as borderline character, the Professor, aka Sergio Marquina, is in fact a good and kind soul, fascinating and mysterious at the same time. As brilliant as it is disastrous in social relationships and in controlling emotions.
In the construction of any movie or television character, the look, the clothing and accessories that contribute to defining their personality and that often end up becoming true iconic objects play an important factor. An example is the leather jacket worn by Fonzie in Happy Days or, how not to mention, the little black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's?
The Professor's look certainly does not excel in originality; his wardrobe is in fact composed mostly of formal suits, shirts and corduroy jackets. In short, nothing worthy of note.
You may be wondering then what does this character have to do with the iconic style. Well, what accompanies the protagonist of the House of paper in every episode of the series and that completes his look are the glasses that the Professor obsessively fixes on the nose in all the tense scenes of the series. But what glasses are they?
Persol, specifically the model PO3160V 9014 52, which contribute to instilling an irresistible charisma to this character and who actually win the title of iconic accessory.
Coming from the Double Bridge collection, these glasses are characterized by the double bridge black acetate frame and a vintage flavor design never gone out of fashion.
A must have for those who love intellectual / chic style with a revolutionary soul, of course!
